June’s Topic: Chaos in the Old Pueblo: Historic Disasters in Tucson
During 2025, TMA will host the Mexican American Heritage and History Museum’s monthly history socials while the Sosa-Carrillo House is closed for remodel. The free talks were started and continue to be given by Trejo’s Tucson Walking Tours, during the program Mauro Trejo IV, Los Descendientes board member and MexAm Museum volunteer, will share insights on various aspects of Tucson’s history.
These History Socials celebrate the rich history and diverse culture of Tucson and the surrounding region and will form part of a year-long celebration honoring over 4,000 years of history, heritage, and culture in Tucson and Pima County. This milestone commemorates the 250th anniversary of Presidio San Agustín del Tucson, learn more about the celebration here.
